Port Blair, Jan 8: A veterinary health camp was organized at the Veterinary Dispensary and Polyclinic, Dollygunj. During the camp, 55 cattle, 67 goat, 2 buffaloes and 278 nos. poultry were treated. About 31 farmers from neighbouring villages attended. Dr. Sunita Roy, Senior Veterinary Officer, briefed the framers on the various diseases of Poultry, and the importance of vaccination in preventing viral diseases like Ranikhet and I.B.D. Vaccination of poultry against Ranikhet disease was done free of cost.
