Port Blair, Jan 03: In connection with the celebration of the Makara Sankranti 2016, the Andhra Association, Port Blair will be conducting rangoli, musical chairs (only for ladies), chess competitions from Jan 5 for Telugu people. As part of the function, the Association will be organising competitions for Telugu students viz. essay writing & panting open from class IIIrd to degree level and above at Andhra Association hall premises on Jan 10 from 9 am onwards. Last date for entries for chess competition is Jan 4 and last date for entries of school children competition is Jan 9, a communication said.
