Port Blair, Dec 22: The NCC Junior Division (Air Force) cadets of GSSS led by ANO Third Officer Dhuryodhan Roy and Cpl R Yadav, PI Staff of NCC Unit as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, participated in the Clean India Mission at school. The cadets actively took part in the cleanliness drive and set an example by dumping all the garbage collected in dustbins. The cadets and other students of the school were apprised about the importance of “Clean India Mission” and the harmful effects caused by the plastic waste to the environment including marine life. The Principal and staff of the school appreciated the efforts of the cadets and made an appeal to all students to extend cooperation for the success of the mission.
