Port Blair, Dec 21: The Andaman and Nicobar police have arrested three persons for a Burglary case. As per details on 16-11-2015 a burglary case was reported at PS Chatham.
According to statement of complainant on 16-11-2015 at about 1100 hrs, he alongwith his wife went to Hospital for treatment. At about 1245 hrs when they returned, they noticed that the main door of his house was opened. Thereafter he immediately entered in his house and noticed that some gold ornaments, Cash around Rs.40,000 and one Mobile phone were found missing.
On this a case was registered at Police Station Chatham.
“During the course of investigation two accused persons R. Muruganandham, a resident of Pathargudda and R. Senthil Kumar, a resident of Chouldari have been arrested after observing all the codal formalities and the stolen articles have been seized,” Santosh Kumar Meena, the Superintendent of Police, South Andaman informed media today.
According to the SP the accused persons told police that the remaining stolen gold ornaments were mortgaged by them in Jayalaxmi Finance, Anarkali.
“Later, after observing all codal formalities the owner of Jaylaxmi Finance namely Baba Sekar, was arrested on Sunday, u/s 411 IPC and the remaining stolen gold ornaments were seized from his shop. All accused persons will be produced before the Hon’ble Court by today,” the SP added.
