Port Blair, Dec 2: As part of Island Tourism Festival 2016, the Department of Agriculture in association with National Horticulture Mission will organize ‘Flower Show’ at the ITF Ground. During the Flower Show, competitions will be held for various categories viz. Fresh and Dry Flower Arrangement, Flat Bouquets, Garland, Rangoli along with display of Potted plants. Besides this, a competition will be held for awarding “Best Flower Grower” from South Andaman District.
Interested farmers and participants can make arrangements to display their quality exhibits and get recognition through awards. The application form for enrollment of participants will be available at HVA Cell, Directorate of Agriculture, Zonal Agriculture Officer, Goalghar and Organic Horticulture Farm, Sippighat on all working hours from Dec 23, 2015.
