Port Blair, Dec 18: For the holistic development in the Horticulture sector, the Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) programme is being implemented by High Value Agriculture Development Agency (HVADA), Directorate of Agriculture. Under the National Horticulture Mission Scheme, a group of 10 Farmers along with 02 departmental officials are deputed for undergoing training on “High Value Vegetable Production under Protected Condition” at the Institute of Horticulture Technology (IHT), Greater Noida. The team will be proceeding to Kolkata on 18/12/2015 by M.V. Nicobar.
The farmers/ staff will be trained on the scientific and innovative technologies for production of High value vegetables crops under protected conditions.
