Port Blair, Dec 18: Dr. Raghuram G. Rajan, Governor, Reserve Bank of India is scheduled to arrive at Port Blair on 21st December, 2015 on a visit to the Islands.
Besides calling on the Lt Governor, A&N Islands at Raj Niwas, the itinerary of the RBI Governor during his stay here includes visit to the National Memorial Cellular Jail and laying wreath at Martyrs Column there, visit Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology and interaction with students and academicians of A&N Islands, meeting with Chief Secretary and officers of the A&N Administration on economic development in A&N Islands, interaction with Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Union Territory Level Bankers Committee Meeting, meeting with Self Help Groups and to see their functioning at Caddlegunj village, visit to Havelock and Ross Islands and visit to the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park.
On completion of visit, the RBI Governor will leave for the mainland on 25th December, 2015.
