Mayabunder/ Rangat, Dec 17: Together with rest of these Islands, a massive strike was witnessed today at almost all the Islands of North and Middle Andaman. At Mayabunder the main protest was organised in front of the Office of the Executive Engineer, NACD, APWD Mayabunder from 10.30 AM to 4.30 PM by the DRMs working in Mayabunder Zone (NACD) under the leadership of CITU for the settlement of long pending demands.
The Andaman Sravajanik Nirman Vibhag Mazdoor Sangh consisted of more than 140 mazdoor including the mahilas organised a rally from Helipad to the EE office via APWD guest house.
