Port Blair, Dec 2: Power supply will remain suspended in some parts of South Andaman Rural areas on Dec 5, 2015 in connection with isolation of HT & LT line by cutting of a Sirish tree by Gram Panchayat Sipighat, i.e. Tiger feeder will be isolated from Teylerabad to Bimlitan, erection of one ABS at Dhanikhari Junction and line maintenance work from Guptapara to Manjery and line maintenance and clearance work under Ferrargunj Sub-Division. The areas to be affected are Teylerabad to Bimblitan from 7 am to 5 pm, Dhanikhari Junction to Ograbraj, Tirur and Dundus Point and from Guptapara Junction to Manjeri and Dhanikhari Junction to Ograbraj from 7 am to 3 pm. Similarly, areas like Bambooflat to Hopetown, Shore Point, Stewartgunj, Wimberlygunj to Shoal Bay, Wimberlygunj to Ferrargunj, Ferrargunj to Jirkatang and Ram Nagar will experience load-shedding from 8 am to 2 pm. The works will be carried out subject to weather conditions.
