Mayabunder, Nov 30: The Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association, Mayabunder visited remotely located Karmatang IX Bastirecently as part of outreach activity to celebrate Tatrakshika Anniversary.
To mark the occasion of Anniversary, members of Tatrakshika from Mayabunder interacted with children and their guardians of Karmatang IX and appreciated the efforts being put in by residents of village in bringing up of children in a very healthy environment.
Tatrakshika also organised health advisory / Nutritional lecture for children and also conducted discussion on general health awareness, educational benefits and career opportunities amongst members of local community and children.
Coast guard ladies also organised various games for the children and distributed prizes to boost moral and confidence level in the remotely located children. CGWWA apart from giving moral support, distributed food and gift item to all present during the outreach program me.
