Port Blair, Apr 27: An autorickshaw bearing number AN-O1, B7792 caught fire at Pathar gudda near ‘Murda Khadi’ this morning.
A short circuit in the electrical wiring system is suspected to have caused the fire, which resulted in the total loss of the vehicle. One fire tender was rushed to the spot, which controlled the fire soon. The autorickshaw suffered heavy damage.
