Port Blair, Nov 8: Applications are invited by the Ministry of Defence, Kendriya Sainik Board for Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for the year 2015-16 from the dependent wards/widows of Ex-Servicemen (below officer rank only) pursuing Professional Degree Courses, duly recognized by the respective government regulatory bodies such as MCI, AICTE and UGC etc. The scheme will be applicable only to those candidates who have joined the Professional Courses in the academic year 2015-16. Students should have secured 60% and above in Minimum Educational Qualification i.e 10+2/Diploma/Graduation. Application Form can be downloaded from the website http//www.desw.gov.in at PM’s Scholarship link. The application in prescribed format along with requisite documents should be submitted to Rajya Sainik Board, Veer Senani Bhavan, Haddo, Port Blair latest by 30 November, 2015. Tel – 03192 -235621.
