Port Blair, November 02: A two and a half meter long young Dolphin was rescued this morning from Marine Dockyard area of Port Blair.
According to reports, the Dolphin, which somehow got separated from Pod, got trapped inside the Marine Dockyard area and was seen restlessly looking for a escape route.
A large gathering of workers in the Marine Dockyard came out to have a look and to help the Dolphin.
As per the experts, due to the injuries in the Caudal Fin, the Dolphin fish must have lost the way and entered inside the Marine Dockyard.
As per reports, a team of Forest and Fisheries Department reached the spot and with the help of the workers of Marine Dockyard managed to provide medical treatment to the Dolphin.
Later the Dolphin was taken in a boat and released near the Ross Island after the treatment.
