Port Blair, Nov 2: All the Hotels/Guest Houses/Inns/Paying Guest accommodations etc. operating in South Andaman and North & Middle Andaman District are informed that the submission of Form ‘C’ pertaining to arrival of foreigners shall be submitted through Online Module and will be mandatory w.e.f. November 2015. The Online application can be accessed from the website http://boi.gov.inor indianfrro.gov.in/frro/ FormC. For further assistance & clearing of any doubts please contact Foreigners Registration Officer, Ground Flour, Superintendent of Police (D) Office Building, Port Blair, Phone No. 03192-233307/03192-237793 on any working day during working hours.
As per the registration of Foreigners Rules, 1992 “the Keeper of the hotels shall, as soon as may be, but not more than 24 hours, after the arrival of any foreigner, transmit a copy of Form ‘C’ duly completed form the particulars furnished by such a foreigner to the Registration Officer.”
Violation of the above rule will attract the provision of section 7(1) of Foreigners Act, 1946 and 14(6) Registration of Foreigners Rule, 1992. The same is punishable under section 14(c) of foreigners (Amendment) Act, 2004.
Accordingly, all Hoteliers/Guest Houses/Inns/Paying Guest accommodations/Bed & Breakfast accommodation etc. operating in U.T of Andaman Islands have been directed to start submitting the Form ‘C’ through Online medium only.
