Port Blair, Oct 27: As a part of the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week, the Director General of Police, Mr Rajesh Malik, administered the pledge to all Police Officers and men of Police Headquarters on Monday in the presence of the Superintendent of Police (HQ) and Dy. Superintendents of Police.
In his address, the Director General of Police highlighted the need of prevention of corruption as a tool of Good Governance, and asked the staff to work with utmost honesty, sincerity, dedication and to eradicate all corrupt practices to bring transparency in their work, culture and day to day activities so as to bring pride to the organization. Similar pledges were administered in all the Units & Police Stations of A & N Police.
