Port Blair, Oct 16: A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp (VBD Camp) was conducted by A&N AIDS Control Society (ANACS) in association with moon star musical & dance group, Port Blair at Tiranga Park on 16th October 2015 on the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. A. P. J. Kalam.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. R. K. Halder, Project Director, A&N AIDS Control Society.
The camp was facilitated by Dr. Shahil Sehgal, Medical Officer, Blood Bank, G. B. Pant Hospital, Port Blair. He briefed the young donors on various aspects and importance of blood donation.
The camp was coordinated by Smt Palwinder Kaur, Councillor of A&N AIDS Control Society.
