Diglipur, Oct 07: Under the provisions of Sections 16,19(1) and 53 (1) of the A & N Panchayat Regulation 1994, the first meeting of newly elected Pradhan and members of Gram held under the Chairmanship of the Assistant Commissioner to administer oath of office to newly elected members and Pradhans, Up-Pradhan held today at GMS Shantinagat for Gandhinagar Gram Panchayat. With this oath taking ceremony of all 15 Gram Panchayats came to an end.
Mrs. Gulabi Das took oath as Pradhan Gandhinagar here today. Yesterday Kishorinagar, Paschimsagar’s and Sitanagar Panchayat’s oath taking ceremony held. Where Mr. Amar Mondal for Kishorinagar Mrs. Madhumala Roy for Paschimsagar and Ms. Bulbul Mistry took oath as Pradhan Sitanagar.
