Port Blair, October 05: A mazdoor of electricity department suffered electrocution this morning while he was working on a breaker at Phoenix Bay Power House.
People present in the area told Andaman Sheekha that they heard of a massive blast inside the power house, when the accident took place.
It is learnt that the Mazdoor suffered electrocution due to lack of proper safety measures.
The Mazdoor was immediately shifted to the G B Pant Hospital. It is learnt that the mazdoor suffered burn injuries in his face and head. As per report presently the Mazdoor is out of danger.
