Port Blair, Oct 04: The PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma along with all leaders paid floral tribute to the portraits of Mahatama Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri at Gandhi Bhavan at 7.30 AM today (2 10 15) on their birth anniversaries.
Kuldeep has also greeted the gathering and islanders on this day and stated that Mahatma Gandhi was the apostle of truth and non violence who was the pioneer of Satyagraha through mass civil disobedience, firmly founded upon Ahimsa which led India to Independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world, while Bharat Ratna Lal Bahadur Shastri, former Prime Minister has always reminded us to honour our brave Jawans and selfless Kishans. Kuldeep has also requested the fellow islanders to vow for cleanliness which is next to Godliness. The PCC chief has also remembered Bharat Ratna Kamraj, whose death anniversary falls on this day.
