Port Blair, Oct 1: The Municipal Council organized various competitions like Essay contest, Dictation, Noting and Drafting and Translation during the observance of Hindi Fortnight from Sept 1-15, 2015. The winners of the competitions were handed over prizes by the Chairperson, Senior Vice Chairperson, Junior Vice Chairperson, Accounts Officer and Nodal Officer (Hindi) on Thursday. In her address, the Chairperson, Smt Sheela Singh urged employees to maximise the use of Hindi on official works. The Nodal Officer (Hindi) proposed the vote of thanks.
