Port Blair, Sept 21: NCC cadets of Army and Naval NCC Units participated in International Coastal Cleanup Drive conducted by the Headquarters, Coast Guard, A & N Region on Saturday, Altogether, 121 NCC cadets participated in the event to create awareness towards keeping our coasts clean as part of United Nation Environment Programme (UNEP). The event was held at Corbyn’sz Cove Beach here. The NCC cadets from JNRM, GSSS Nirmala, GSSS Aberdeen Bazar and GSSS Junglighat participated in the event. The cadets were provided with free transportation, T-Shirts, caps and refreshments by the Coast Guard.
