Rangat, Sept 10: A 16-year-old girl committed suicide by allegedly hanging herself from the window of her room in Rangat area this morning at 10:00am.
According to reports, the deceased, a Class 11th student of Government Senior Secondary School, Rangat, didn’t go to school today and was alone at her home when she purportedly hanged herself with a cloth from the window of her room.
When her mother a government servant by profession arrived home, she found the girl is not opening her room after which the door was broken with the help of the neighbors. Inside the room the mother found the girl hanging from the window.
The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was declared brought dead.
As per sources, a suicide note was recovered from the spot but the girl hasn’t blamed anyone in her suicide note. The reason of such extreme step is still not known. It is learnt that the Police is investigating into the matter. The body of the girl will be handed over tomorrow after the Postmortem.
