Port Blair, Sept 9:This is with reference to the Directorate of Health Services office order vide no.1993 dated 27th April 2015 that, all hospitals Public or Private, whether run by the Central Govt., the State Govt., local bodies or any other person, shall immediately provide first-aid and medical treatment free of cost to the victims of any offence covered under section 326A, all other relevant clauses of the IPC and shall immediately inform the police of such incidents. A special emphasis has to be given for providing first-aid and medical treatment free of cost to all victims of acid attacks if any, said Mr B.Nagendra, Dist.
