Diglipur, Sept 08: The Andaman Trunk Road’s first night bus service has completed one year today.
In order to provide good and convenient public transport facilities to the people residing at North Andaman, SS Transport exclusively engaged 3 buses on this route.
One Month ago Geetangali travels had also launched a night bus service in the same route.
As per passengers, the night service is very useful and helpful for Islanders.
The most important fact is this night service has not disturbed the present convoy timing and saved a lot of efforts and money of Islanders but also helped passengers to finish their work in day time and travel back from Port Blair in the evening.
The passenger can return from Port Blair or Diglipur without halting at night, which saves precious time and money of the people travelling.
The General public is now demanding that State Transport Service should also start operation of luxury buses in this route in night hours.
