Port Blair, Sept. 7: A delegation of Andaman Tourism lead by Shri P Viswakanan, Director (Tourism) with Shri Girish Arora, President ACCI, Shri M Vinod, President AATO, Shri G Bhaskar, Hoteliers Association, Shri Udhay Bhasker, Executive Member ACCI, Shri Ajay Kumar, Member FORTO are attending PATA 2015 at Banglore on Sept. 6, 7 & 8, 2015.
The delegation met representative of various countries and the Tourism Minister of Karnataka today. This is the third time India is hosting this event which had 1100 delegates representing 61 countries.
A Coffee Table Book was handed over to Tourism Minister of Karnataka, Shri RV Deshpande.
It’s a great forward thinking positive step towards promotion of brand “Andamans” by the Administration jointly with ACCI. It is for the first time Andamans have participated in PATA. Pacific Asia Travel Association is one of the most prestigious international travel mart having countries, States, hotels travel agents service providers and investors as its members.
The President ACCI, Shri Girish Arora has informed Andaman Sheekha that PATA Adventure Mart has been planned to be organized at Port Blair jointly with the A&N Administration by 2018.
