Port Blair, September 02: In a bid to install a sense of fear among traffic rule violators the Traffic Police have initiated patrolling of police fleet in Port Blair city, in which traffic jawans in 4-6 Motorcycles will move together.
This fleet will move all around the city and will keep a vigil on the youths showing stunts on road, reckless driving, drunken driving etc.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Mr M Umar said that the Director General Police have directed to introduce the fleet police system in the city.
With this the Traffic Police will show strong presence in city which will act as deterrent for traffic rule violators.
