Port Blair, Aug 26: A team of 20 Senior Division Naval NCC cadets embarked MV Swaraj Dweep to represent Andaman & Nicobar in the Nau Sainik Camp & Intra Unit Competitions at Puducherry from Sept 1-10, 2015. The selection of the cadets was based on their performance during Annual Training Camp held in Jan 2015 and the Combined Annual Training camp held in June this year. The cadets comprise of students from JNRM, Port Blair and MG College, Mayabunder. The team will compete against their counterparts on the mainland in Drill, Firing, Seamanship, Communications, Navigation, Health & Hygiene, Ship-modeling, Tent Pitching, Waterman-ship, Swimming and Cultural activities. Concerted efforts have been put in by the cadets and the staff in preparations for the camp and the team is expected to do well in the camp.
