Mayabunder, Aug 23: The final league-cum-knockout football tournament which organized by District Sports & Cultural Society, Mayabunder, North & Middle Andaman was played between “Home Brothers” and “Karan Youth Club” at Nataji Sports Complex, Mayabunder at 3.30 p.m today.
A large numbers of foot ball lovers gathered as audience despite of downpour. The team “Karan Youth Club” has succeeded to win the match by three goals against two goals of runner up team “Home Brothers”.
The chief guest Shri Arava Gopi Krishna, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, and North & Middle Andaman distributed prize to the winning team “Karan Youth Club” in presence of Shri SK Meena, IPS, SP (D), N & M Andaman, AD Bendtrik, DC Office Mayabunder.
