Mayabunder, Aug 14: The District Administration of North & Middle Andaman has made the necessary preparation for the celebrations of the 69th Independence Day in the North & Middle Andmand District.
The Main function shall be held at the Netaji Sports Complex wherein the Deputy Commissioner; N & M Andaman shall be hosting the National Flag at 0900 AM. Thereafter he shall inaugurate the Art & Picture Galley show at information Centre, Mayabunder which is the main attraction for the 69thIndependace Day Celebrations.
Rare photographs and paintings commemorating the lives of Indian Freedom Fighters and National Heroes shall be displayed in the Art & Pictur Gallery.
The gallery shall also have a corner viz. “Kalam’s Corner” depicting the life of our Ex-President Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. An AV shall also be played depicting the lives of Indian Freedom Fighters and National Heroes. The District Administration North & Middle Andaman cordially invites people from different walks of life, in particular children, to visit the gallery and pay respect towards our Freedom Fighters and National Heroes who laid down their lives for the country to enhable us to breath in a free country. On this auspicious day we should salute and remember them.
