Port Blair, Aug 13: The Adhyaksha, South Andaman Zilla Parishad, Ms VK Mariyam Bibi has highlighted the problems faced by residents of Ferrargunj Tehsil in booking LPG refills to the Secretary, Civil Supplies. She urged that Secretary to open a Booking Centre at a convenient location in Ferrargunj or link the booking procedure with existing CSCs in various rural areas. Due to lack of pre-defined schedule of LPG distribution, Ferrargunj residents are facing hardships in receiving their LPG cylinders, she said requesting the Civil Supplies Secretary to publish the schedule of LPG distribution in advance for the benefit of the consumers.
