Port Blair, July 28: The Andaman and Nicobar Teachers’ Association also held a Condolence Meeting on Tuesday to mourn the demise of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Mr Y Sajeevan said that Dr Kalam wanted to make India the biggest, healthiest and the most prosperous country of the world. The best brains of the country may be found on the last benches of the classroom and teachers should work with greater vigor and sense to dedication as every child is an asset of the nation and one should live upto the dreams of Dr Kalam in shaping our country into the most powerful nation of the world, he said. The General Secretary, Mr Suresh Narayan, offered floral tributes to the departed soul.
