Port Blair, July 22: First Training Squadron ships arrived Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Wednesday on a three-day visit. The officer trainees of the Indian Navy are provided Sea Training onboard ships of the First Training Squadron (1 TS). The squadron comprises warship INS Tir, Sujata and also the Coast Guard Ship Varuna. The ships are currently visiting ports of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, including Mayabunder and Diglipur as part of training for the trainees and will also carry out surveillance of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The ships are scheduled to depart Port Blair on July 24, 2015, a release from the A & N Command says.
