Port Blair, July 19: The District Industries Centre, Department of Industries will be organizing an ‘awareness-cum-motivational programme’ on Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and other Govt. Sponsored schemes of DIC at Panchayat Hall, Dollygunj on 21st July, 2015 at 10.30 am. The programme will be organized in association with Gram Panchayat Dollygunj, SBI, ANSCB, NYK and other line departments.
The objective of the programme is to disseminate information to the participants about the PMEGP Schemes apart from other incentive oriented schemes of the departments. This programme will be followed by the firsthand guidance to the entrepreneurs for completion of documentation.
All the unemployed persons of the concerned area, interested in setting up self-employment ventures under manufacturing, service and business sector may avail this opportunity under PMEGP Scheme. Unemployed persons have been requested to attend the programme along with two copies of passport size photograph, local certificate, ration card, educational qualification certificate and other essential documents. The filled-in applications will be collected on the spot for placing the same before the Task Force Committee for consideration, a communication said.
