Port Blair, July 17: The District Industries Centre, Department of Industries will organize an awareness-cum-motivation programme on Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and other government sponsored schemes at Dollygunj Panchayat Hall on July 21, 2015 at 10.30 am in association with Gram Panchayat, Dollygunj, SBI, ANSCB, NYK and other line departments.
The programme will disseminate the information to participants about the PMEGP scheme apart from other incentive oriented schemes of the department. The awareness programme will be followed by first hand guidance to entrepreneurs for completion of documentation.
All unemployed persons of the area interested in setting up self-employment ventures under manufacturing, service and business sector may avail the opportunity under PMEGP scheme. Unemployed persons have been requested to attend the programme with two copies of passport size photograph, Local Certificate, Ration Card, Educational Certificate and other essential documents. The fill-in applications will be collected on the spot for placing them before the Task Force Committee for consideration.
