Port Blair, July 17: The provisional merit list of all candidates, who applied for admission to various courses at Andaman College (ANCOL) will be displayed in the notice board of the institute at 10 am on July 18, 2015. Claims and objections, if any, should be submitted in writing with documentary evidence to the Principal, ANCOL latest by 3 pm on July 22, 2015. The final merit list will be displayed at 10 am on July 23, 2015. Counselling for admissions is scheduled to commence at 9 am on July 25.
Accordingly, the counselling for students in the merit list from serial no. 001 to 100 will be held from 9 am to 10.15, for candidates from serial no. 101 to 200 from 10.15 am to 11.30 am, from serial no. 201 to 300 from 11.45 am to 1 pm, serial no. 301 to 400 from 1.45 pm to 3 pm and for candidates from serial no. 401 to 500 from 3 pm to 4.15 pm.
Admissions will be made strictly on merit on first come first served basis as per availability of seats at the time of counselling. No claims from any students, who don’t attend the counselling on July 25 as per schedule will be entertained. Further, students who opted for BPA (Music) have been instructed to appear for audition test at 9 am on July 24 in the Department of Music, ANCOL. Candidates, who don’t appear for the audition test will not be considered for admission in the course irrespective of his/her merit.
