Port Blair, July 14: The President, Andaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr Girish Arora has requested the Lt Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands to get international connectivity done.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, Mr Arora said that if the administration can probably connect Andamans to any of the South East Asian countries then that would be a game changer. He said that connectivity with any of the South East Asian countries will not only help people of these Islands to get out but will also bring in international travelers to our Islands.
“As all are aware that Bangkok, Malaysia, Singapore are international hubs and this connectivity will become very convenient for international travelers to come in from these destinations to Andaman and then can go to any part of India and therefore Andamans will become a gateway to tourism of India from the South,” Mr Arora said.
