Port Blair, July 03: The Secretary Tourism, Mr. Rakesh Bali today inaugurated tourist information digital display at Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports (RGWS) Complex.
The Information Digital Display has been set up by the Association of Tour Operators by joining the Digital India Week observance. The digital display was inaugurated in the presence of the Director, Tourism, Dr R Vishwakannan, President, ACCI, Shri Girish Arora, President Association of Tour Operators, Shri M Vinod and other prominent citizens.
The LED display installed by the Association of Tour Operators will provide information such as boat timings to Ross, Jolly Bouy, wandoor and North Bay, availability of tickets/ light & sound show at Ross etc.
The President Association of Tour Operators, Shri M Vinod told Andaman Sheekha that more tourists’ related information will be made available including info about the rough weather and any changes in boat schedule for the benefit of the tourists.
