Mayabunder, June 11: A strong lightening was reported near residential areas of Pokkadera, Mayabunder at about 2 pm today, which damaged a coconut tree and 2-3 Led TVs of villagers.
The lightening resulted in a fire on the electric lines passing through the houses. Immediately on getting the information, the Fire Brigade Staff with fire tender rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
