Port Blair, June 07: Andaman Sai Seva Samiti , Andaman and Nicobar Islands, organised a Blood Donation Camp at Chouldari ,Main Bazaar, South Andaman yesterday in association with Andaman and Nicobar Aids Control Society. Altogether 50 persons donated blood which was handed over to Blood Bank of G B Pant Hospital, Port Blair.
Earlier, the program was started by lighting the traditional lamp by Shri Santhosh Kumar Singh , advisory board member ASSS, in presence of Shri Sanjay, President, Veer Savarker Youth Club, Chouldari, A&N Aids control team and the villagers at Durga puja Mandap, Chouldari.
Specially, the villagers and General Secretary , Shri Satish Chander Nath, ASSS, appreciated the efforts of ASSS for their tireless activities being taken up in such remote villages for the benefit of poor, needy and destitute people.
