Port Blair, May 18: The All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS), A & N State Committee, has criticized the NDA government over the recent hike in petrol and diesel prices by Rs 3.13/- and Rs 2.71/- respectively. In a release, the AIKS General Secretary, Dr Gouranga Majhi said that the one year of the current government has witnessed hike in fuel prices on several occasions and the recent hike has added to the burden of the common man. Luring the common man with several promises during the election campaign, the Mod- government jumped to power in May last year. But in the first year, the government has failed in several counts, he said demanding immediate rollback of fuel prices.
