Port Blair, May 12: Recently for some road side pipe repairing works a hole was dug at Shiv Colony of Dollygunj by APWD but sadly even after completion of the work the hole was not filled. As a result the road stretch has turned into a death trap. Residents allege that such hole just adjacent to the road may lead to a major accident anytime.
“A child fell in that hole two days back and suffered minor injuries. He was completely drenched with mud water. Tomorrow there could be deadly accident as such hole, that too so close to road is totally undetectable, especially when it remain full with mud water,” said a resident of the area.
