Port Blair, May 10: Dr Anees Ahmed, former cabinet minister, appointed as Pradesh Returning officer for organizational elections of Pradesh Congress Committee, along with PCC President Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma and APRO Mr P I Md Nasir, met the PRI members on 9th May,2015 at Gandhi Bhavan and directed them to submit the membership books taken by them positively on Monday the 11th May,2015. He has told the PRI members to take more such books and by 15th May, 2015 add more members and organize membership drive very successfully.
Further Dr Anees had also said the PRI members in the party meeting to strengthen the party and give a proper record and never flash false report on numbers of its old and new members or gives false assurances, which as a result show a day dream to misguide the innocent people of India like other political party. Mr Anees said.
Zilla Parishad Adhyaksha Mrs Mariam Bibi, SWB Chairperson Ratna Kannan, PBMC Chairperson Mr Arumugam, Party senior spoke person Mr Ganeshan and other PRI members have attended the meeting. Prior to this meeting Assistant Pradesh Returning officer Peer Irshad Md Nasir met the members of NSUI.
