Port Blair, May 08: Keeping its commitment of tough action against illegal activities, a team of Central Crime Station (CID), Port Blair apprehended 04 Gamblers on 07/05/2015 namely 1) M. Suresh, 2) S. Udhayam, 3) M. Ravi Chandran and 4) M. Raja who were involved in gambling at Anarkali near Amphi Theater and recovered Rs. 6,920/- (Rupees six thousand nine hundred twenty only) from the spot. They were challaned under the Andaman & Nicobar Gambling Regulation.
The general public is requested to inform about any credible information pertaining to gambling, illegal sale or possession of liquor/drugs or any other illegal activity on the following telephone numbers- 100, 232586, 9474290250 & 233307. The identity of the informer will be kept secret.
