Port Blair, May 05: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, in a letter addressed to the Lt. Governor, a copy of which has been released to the press, has requested for restoration of livelihood of the villagers of N & M Andaman following the damages caused due to cyclonic storm and incessant rain on 7th & 8th October 2013. The affected farmers and poor residents are still waiting for relief/compensation for their losses, said the MP in his letter, listing out the spots affected by cyclonic storm and heavy rain of Oct. 2013.
