Port Blair, Apr 13: The 48th Annual General Meeting of the Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry was held on 12th April, 2015 at 1800 hrs. at TSG Grand, Dollygunj in which all Members of the Chamber attended. After registration of Membership, two minutes silence was observed in memory of personalities/members who passed away from the last AGM to this AGM. During his welcome speech, Shri G. Bhasker, the out-going President thanked the Lt. Governor, Chief Secretary and all Officers of A&N Administration in giving a patient hearing of the problems of the business Community, in resolving the issues as far as possible and also interacting with the Chamber in the common interest and development of these Islands.
Shri A Mehrzad, out-going General Secretary presented the Annual Report and Shri Rajesh Puria, out-going Treasurer presented the Audited Report before the AGM. The AGM unanimously selected Shri Girish Arora as President , Shri Krishna as General Secretary and Shri Ahmed H. Badat as Treasurer with three Vice Presidents, three Joint Secretaries and sixteen Committee Members. The Meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Shri Girish Arora, President.
