Port Blair, Apr 12: The Air India has confirmed the dates of operation of chartered flights on Port Blair-Chennai-Port Blair sector upto September, 2015 to be operated on alternate Saturdays. The flight AI-3787 will depart from Chennai at 9.40 am and arrived at Port Blair at 11.55 am. On its way back, AI-3788 will depart from Port Blair at 12.30 pm and reach at Chennai at 2.45 pm. In April this flight will operate on Apr 18 while it will be available on May 2 & 16, thereafter on June 6 & 20. Similarly, this flight will also be available on July 4 & 18, August 1 & 15 and September 5 & 19, 2015.
Passengers intending to travel by the chartered flight from Port Blair to Chennai on 18th April, 2015 and from Chennai to Port Blair in the next chartered flight scheduled on 2nd May, 2015 are requested to submit their requisition in the prescribed format available on website www.and.nic.in and book their tickets at the Ship Ticket Advance Reservation System (STARS) Counter, Directorate of Shipping Services, Phoenix Bay Jetty, Port Blair between 9 am and 4 pm from 13th April, 2015 onwards. The reservation will close at 11 am on 17th April, 2015. Reservation of tickets for rest of the flights will start 10 days prior to departure of each flight, a communication from the Dy Director, Civil Aviation said here today.
