Port Blair, Apr 7: A meeting of the Suryachakra Power House Shramik Karmachari Union, affiliated to BMS, A&N Islands was held at the BMS State Office in the presence of BMS State General Secretary, Shri Ashok Kumar, and BMS State Organising Secretary, Shri M. Veeranna. The meeting unanimously resolved to select Shri Vishal Jolly as the Patron of the Suryachakra Power House Shramik Karmachari Union with immediate effect.
Thereafter, a delegation of Suryachakra Power House Shramik Karmachari Union led by the Patron, Shri Vishal Jolly met the Assistant Commissioner (HQ) and discussed various issues of the union. The Superintendent Engineer, Electricity Department, A&N Administration, Managing Director of Suryachakra Power Corporation Ltd., Chief Operating Officer of Anjali Logistics and others were also present. The management of Suryachakra Power Corporation Ltd. is said to have agreed to resolve all these issues, a communication said.
