Port Blair, Apr 7: A group of CTET qualified candidates met the Member of Parliament, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray and requested his intervention in extending of period of submission of applications for the vacant post of teachers in the Education Department advertised in the month of February, 2015.
Since the demand was found to be genuine, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray approach the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to redress the grievances and to allow extension of time so that the qualified and eligible candidates gets a chance to submit their candidature against the post of teachers. The Chief Secretary, A&N Administration is stated to have assured the Member of Parliament for taking all possible efforts in the matter, a communication received here said.
