Port Blair, Mar 10: The members of Suryachakra Power House Shramik Karamchari Union are organizing silent agitation infront of the Suryachakra Power House since 9th March to press their long pending demands.
The workers are demanding hike in salary. They are also agitating against non availability of standing order for workmen, frequent changeover of O&M Contract thus depriving workmen their continuity in service, against non remittance of EPF dues since September 2014, non transfer of EPF account to Port Blair from Hyderabad and also against pending Annual Salary Appraisal since April 2014.
