Port Blair, Feb 11: The Indian Oil Corporation here has informed that many consumers have still not joined the scheme ‘PAHAL (DBTL)’. The grace period for registration under the scheme will be over soon. Therefore, all the LPG consumers have been requested to register their LPG connection in PAHAL (DBTL) as soon as possible and get their subsidy amount directly deposited in their bank accounts. Forms have been made available in retail outlets (petrol pumps) and with the delivery vans for the convenience of the consumers, apart from the distributors’ show rooms.
This flag scheme of MOP&NG has been launched across India from 1st January, 2015. Consumers with Aadhar card, need to submit their Aadhar number to their bank and LPG distributor. If they do not have Aadhar card, then they can submit their bank account details to their LPG distributor or submit their 7-digit LPG ID number to their bank.
The LPG consumers have been cautioned against waiting till the last moment and cooperate with their LPG distributors in making this scheme a success by joining PAHAL at the earliest. For further information about ‘PAHAL’ and to check registration status in the scheme, the consumers may visit MyLPG.in and choose their gas company, a communication from the Asst. Manager (LPG-Sales), IOC said here.
